SHOW NOTES: The Little Joys of Luca
From the Grounded Geeks podcast / your co-hosts Aman and Lena
Welcome to our kid-friendly episode! We’ve talked A LOT in the past about super heavy topics like racism, sexism, time travel, the patriarchy, white supremacy (the list goes on) and how they’re covered in various movies and TV shows, but this time we wanted to talk about an adorable little movie called Luca and the real world impact it may have on kids. This film brought up a lot of feelings for us and also gave audiences—no matter what age you are—the perfect little defense against that annoying voice in our heads that sows doubt in our hearts: Silenzio Bruno!
