SHOW NOTES: Everyone’s Turning Red At 13
From the Grounded Geeks podcast / your co-hosts Aman and Lena
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by emotions recently, then this is the movie for you. This episode is about the latest Pixar movie called Turning Red, a delightfully adorable story about a Chinese-Canadian girl who turns into a red panda every time she feels intense emotions. We’ve all been there and at some point or another, we’ve all felt like a giant fluffy red panda in our lives. This movie has everything: Asian representation, the discussion of feminine hygiene(!), puberty, emotions, immigrant backgrounds, and of course…generational trauma. Yay!
